Urban Financial Services Goes Virtual on Saturday, January 28, 2012
For the first time, the Urban Financial Services Coalition (UFSC) will host the mid-year winter board meeting as a virtual event. The event takes place on Saturday, January 28th from 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.EST. Regional and chapter leaders are asked to register and dial-in to learn more about the dynamic programs and events planned for 2012. For those who would like to attend in-person, the meeting takes place at SunTrust Center at 919 East Main Street, Richmond Virginia on the 4th floor. Ideally, we would like each chapter to hold a meeting in your local area and dial-in to the virtual meeting together. The meeting will be a video meeting; however, video meeting capability is not required. We have made arrangements to allow all participants to see the meeting and participate. You will need a computer and telephone. If you do not have access to a computer, you can dial-in as a tele-conference.

Who should attend this virtual meeting? Regional Vice Presidents, Regional Representatives, Regional Officers, Chapter Presidents, Chapter Officers and Members, International Board Members and Administrative Vice Presidents and Committee Chairpersons.
What will happen in this virtual meeting? Update on the 38th Annual Summit in Charlotte, NC in June 2012; Chapter Development Workshop; Member Engagement Update; 2012 Big 5 Initiatives, Chapter Innovation Workshop and Professional Development Workshop.
After the meeting, we are encouraging members to do a group outing and attend the movie “Red Tails” together. Those attending the meeting live in Richmond, Virginia will attend the 4:20 p.m. EST showing at the Bow Tie Theater.
