Caroline Chambers develops and implements the corporate diversity and inclusion programs for Comerica Bank and Comerica Incorporated, a multi-billion dollar financial services company with 8,000 employees and banking offices in Michigan, Texas, California, Arizona and Florida.
Caroline’s leadership and direction have contributed greatly to Comerica receiving honors for best practices in diversity & inclusion from such organizations as DiversityInc. Magazine, Black Enterprise Magazine, Latina Style Magazine, the Human Rights Campaign Corporate Equality Index, Hispanic Association on Corporate Responsibility and others. Caroline serves on various professional and community focused organizations. Her board and committee involvements include Covenant House Detroit Academy, Wayne State University Center for Citizenship and the Urban Financial Services Coalition Foundation.
Caroline has a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Georgia and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Michigan. She has been recognized by many organizations including Friends School in Detroit Distinguished Alumni Award, Community House Race Relations and Diversity Taskforce, YMCA Minority Achievers Award, Rhonda Walker Foundation Powerful Women of Purpose Award, Michigan Chronicle Women of Excellence Award, Who’s Who in Black Detroit honoree and Corp! Magazine Diversity Leader Award.
