Policy Briefing for African American Financial Professionals

Urban Financial Services Coalition is capitalizing on the proximity of the national’s Capitol to provide African American Financial Professionals with a special policy briefing from senior White House officials and governmental leaders on financial issues impacting the African American community. This event is open to UFSC members and non-members for a nominal fee of $50.00 (for transportation to and from Washington DC).  

Updates on the implementation of the Small Business Act, recent economic policy/job creation initiatives and an intimate conversation with Federal Reserve Governor Sarah Raskin are just a few of examples of the learning that will be gained during this powerful briefing. The day’s itinerary include: 

  • Visit to the US Capitol Building
  • Attend Briefing with office of Congressman  Elijah Cummings, Maryland 7th Congressional District
  • Visit to US Treasury
  • Business meeting with Sarah Raskin, Federal Reserve Board of Governors
  • Love Leadership with John Bryant at Hope Empowerment Center
