Don’t stay stuck – Do Better

Never as Scary

“It’s never too late to start over.  If you weren’t happy with yesterday, try something different today!  Don’t stay stuck.  Do Better”

The Richmond Chapter of Urban Financial Services Coalition invites you to the “It’s Never As Scary As It Looks” Seminar featuring Wialillian Howard, Operations Manager – Professional, Development & Sustainability, City of Richmond – Finance and Administration.

Wialillian Howard

Seminar Description:

Studies show that over 40% of the goals we set in the New Year usually fall from our radar before the end of January.  And despite our best intentions, this becomes the storyline for the vast majority of people that set them.  We hit the New Year with the readiness of a thoroughbred exploding out the gate and depending on our stride, we can take on the look of a tired old donkey who has just finished a hard day of hauling rocks.

Remember, no matter how far off you’ve gotten with your goals, it is much easier than you think to get back in the game and start getting things done to make it through the rest of the year.  Poet Robert Burns said it best, “The best laid plans of mice and men often go awry.”

So how do you restart your engines?

This session explores the five primary reasons we get off track and the five adjustments that we can make to realign our strategy for success.

Come with your stories, admit your failures (temporary one), and let’s regain our goal-setting traction.  We have work to do!!!

Who Should Attend?

Business Owners, Executives, Non-Profit Leaders, Community Leaders, Professionals, Parents.
